Even today, I remember not only my family’s June, July and August forays, but the excursions of my kindergarten colleagues.
From roller-skating camp to resort holidays, from Disneyland to driving cross-country, such is the stuff of which memories are made.
Don’t feel limited to one wow-worthy voyage per season. As parents, it’s tough to predict the trip reminiscences that will last – and maybe impact – a lifetime. Syd still tells of her family’s first travels that not only helped mold her youth, but her career choice.
Products to ease travel time with tiny tykes abound, so admit it, you’ve got no excuses. When it comes to those teacher-requested dissertations, to quote Bonnie Raitt, “Let’s give ‘em something to talk about.”
