Periodicals suitable for pressing flowers? Pshaw! You could press your blouses with the tonnage of tomes announcing this autumn’s apparel. (Not that I would, that’s what dry cleaners are for.)

So what have I gleaned as this year’s glut of gorgeous “gotta-haves”?
Long, lean leggings topped with a tunic. Dresses by the demure and daring dozen. Animal prints all around. Capelets. Vests. Jumpers. Calf skin bags, boots, ballet flats and beyond.
