The Holiday Hit Parade

With wee twins in house, we've likely overplayed the seasonal CDs. Here's my twist on an old classic:

You know Dolce and Dior and Pucci and Vera, Karl and Calvin and Posen and Blahnik…

But do you recall -- your most beloved designer* of all?

(*or at least for the holidays at hand…)

I’ll show you mine if you show me yours!

Here’s a hint…

For those that prefer a non-visual clue, here are the initials: PS.
As in P.S., I Iove you; and with offerings like the above, I truly do.

Any guesses? Anyone want to share their fave du jour?
Let's see 'em, Ladies!

With Catwalk Kisses---Allie

Proenza Schouler!

Their fabulous white menswear-inspired trousers from a few years back almost -- but not quite -- convinced me to try a pair. I heard somewhere that they're actually collaborating on a line for Target right now. Imagine that!

As for my fave these days, it has to be the futuristic-retro stylings of Alexander McQueen:

Simply stunning.

Eliza---

Fashion flashcard manufacturing may be in your future!

(You are quick, Sister!)

Agreed 100%, Alexander McQueen's pieces right now are fabulous...they remind me of a much-modernized June Cleaver look --- all the style, none of the submission. Behnaz, Isaac and now, Alexander? I adore Target's "Posh to the People!"  mindset.

Oh, and Carolina is to die for this spring, too---and oh so you, Ms. Iz.

If we're looking fashion-forward (and when aren't we, really?), check out Versace's virtuoso for spring...

The black and coral foliate patterned stunner will be hanging in my armoire in a few weeks. (When those words "limited availability" appear in a dress description, I don't delay...)
