Those of us with tiny tots can attest to the fact that when gifts are given, the wrapping is rapture-inducing. How many of us in retrospect have realized the packaging was the preferred present? Fact: A box brings juvenile joy.
As kids, we all did it…assembled forts, furnishings and fun en masse from simple corrugated cardboard construction.
How wise then – not to mention ecologically conscientious – the design team at Room To Grow! Mai and Ringo will surely savor this table for two. The wide-eyed, non-threatening creatures. The variety of shapes (never are octagons and hexagons as enticing as they are in the preschool years). The lightweight yet resilient pieces can be moved with ease by the teeniest of tykes.
Mama loves not only the fact that teetering, pulling-up babes won’t be bruised when the furnishings fall upon them (which inevitably, they do!), but that the entire set can be put together sans tool support.
Tune in next week...I'll share a comparable corrugated construct with grown-ups in mind...
(But of course you should check in daily...who knows what we'll find between now and then?!)
