Recycling Day

No need to kick it all to the curb; paper goods can be recycled creatively into handmade paper!

Suitable for personally unique correspondence or for mounting pressed foliage, making something new from something old is an ideal way to get "hands-on" involvement in caring for our environment.

This kit from Elizabeth's Flowers comes supplied with all necessary equipment and includes assorted textural supplements (e.g. flax fibers, shredded currency, lavender...) to lend visual appeal to your final paper products. Of course you can personalize your pieces by gleaning goodies from your own piece of the planet garden to incorporate as well.

My kit arrived packed simply and earth-conscientiously.

(Pardon my flash reflection -- I'm not possessed of Syd's photo skills.)

Within the seemingly plain packaging....INSPIRATION!

I can hardly wait...perhaps I'll even let the pumpkins play a bit in the pulp!
Expect handmade notes from me soon....

Affectionately and Artfully---
Allie

PS  Did you catch the funny piece Syd posted from Ame Beanland on her life as a "Flower Felon?" Go read it!

Girlfriend, I may be able to take a good shot sans flash-flection here and there, but I simply cannot wait to see what you create -- and I bet the twinsies' ability to palpate the pulp will by far surpass anything I might have ever been able to glob up!

Can't wait to see what you make!
