Lesson #714: Chitown Shop-Around!

Lesson time, Ladies!

To illustrate the notion that one must step away from Michigan Avenue to experience all that is glorious about Chicago's ever-burgeoning fashion scene, I thought it appropriate to take my lovelies on a virtual mini-tour of Chicago's lesser-known spree-worthy shopping nooks! Now, have a lookie-look!

Wrigleyville

Tula Boutique

Situated smack-dab in the neighborhood-home of the Chicago Cubs, sports bars and rooftop keggers, it's no wonder that a shopping experience at Tula is one effectively accomplished sans the scope of pretense typically upheld from a boutique with designer offerings to rival those on the Mag Mile!

Gold Coast

Ikram

The Gold Coast stands as the northern gateway into downtown Chitown-proper, and within its narrow boundaries exist many a divine boutique, but none so heavenly as Ikram Goldman's, with its plethora of posh designers, from Alexander McQueen to Junya Watanabe!

Wicker Park

Marc by Marc Jacobs

Michigan Avenue's wishin' MJ himelf made its Mile home, but leave it to Marc to find -- and call home -- the wonderful, westward Wicker Park!

 Lincoln Park

 Armadio

Ooooh! The best and the brightest of Euro design houses, under one revelrous roof -- the name of which translates simply to "closet" in Italian! (Don't they just know how to make everything sound hot?)

There you have it, Mamas: Lesson learned! Now, I'll see you on the "L!"
