Want to talk about amazing baby shower gifts?  I heard about these sterling silver anklets with bells, a couple years ago, because Angelina Jolie had a set of them on Maddox. 

Turns out it is a Cambodian Mommas tradition for centuries. Twofold:  1. The tiny bells act as an alarm to Mom, so she knows the baby / toddler is on the move, or into mischief.  I was like a rock star on Sunday at the shower...it seemed like people freaked out in happy joy when they saw them. They are really the cutest gift you could give at a shower.

Do you know what kind of safety tests have been run on them as far as the security of the bells remaining on the chain? Although truth told, I cannot image taking my eyes of a baby that teenie wearing something like that anyway!

My niece is six (and no longer "pulling" at every berry-like orb) -- I'm wondering if they come big enough for her to wear? (Goodness knows, we need to know when she's on the move!)

 Yes, they are safe. They solder the bells on. You really have to see it, then you would know how solid they are made. Because they are on the ankles, the baby cannot get it in their mouth. I was worried about that as well. They would be great on crawlers!!!

They do have many sizes actually. A Mommy and Me set too.!
