    Haute Babies

Has anyone else noticed the style divide among Tinseltown's tiniest trendsetters?

Some seem to be decked out head-to-toe in designer duds (Kingston Rossdale, Suri Cruise) while others appear to be far more, well, normal (Violet Affleck, Dannie-Lynn Smith). While this Mama is never one to shun the fun in fashion, seems to me that kids always wearing Burberry rompers or Juicy Couture sweats and being toted around in Gucci carriers look an awful lot like little baby billboards... especially when you consider how they surely poop and puke and pee through every item just as our own adorable offspring do :)

    Re: Haute Babies

There is a vast difference--you are correct!  Being from the south, I live for sweet little smocked dresses, designer duds,  and trendy boutique clothing for my little girl.  But I did learn very quickly, that just b/c they are in designer duds does NOT mean the poop, puke, and pee is put on hold!  Especially with ***-fed darlings!

I think there is a time, place, and occasion for everything, and Burberry at a soccer game is not one of them, but to each her own!

My little tot looks great at birthdays, church, and special outings, but I am not one to shy away from Target and WalMart for play clothes that will get filthy!

(Those Juicy Couture sweats are PRECIOUS though!)
