No, and I'm not talking about Auntie Bluehair!
Venting is a fairly rare phenomena from me (ask my Mama pals), but am I the only one that is so intensely disturbed by the anti-social, impolite aspect of Bluetooth usage in public places?
On more than one occasion, I've cheerfully "responded" to individuals whom I've thought were greeting me (and my set of stroller-bound tots), only to have a clump hair pulled aside to reveal the ear-mounted phone, and a look of "Duh! I'm not talking to YOU, Dorky Mommy," expression cast in my (and even worse, my babies') direction.
As a result, I'm already instructing my twosome* that "in-person" conversations need to take precedence over cell and e-communications.
(*whether they "get it" yet or not---they love Mommy's voice, and who knows? I may have communicationally gifted wee ones -- may as well start 'em young!)
Anyone else find this trend of placing face-to-face interactions in a secondary role to tech-talk disturbing?
