SOME LIKE IT HOT
Don’t be shocked; I’ve been in B.E.D. with Leonardo DiCaprio. More surprisingly? My husband’s been in B.E.D. with Jennifer Lopez – and I’m not bothered in the slightest. Let’s put it this way, when this Mama needs a mood motivator, I head south – way down south. Oh Miami… home to swaying palms, sandy beaches and skimpy suits. Is there any domestic destination sexier than thou? Miami’s iconic B.E.D. restaurant and nightclub can hardly be considered the newest under the sun; but irrefutably, it’s still one of the steamiest.

AT YOUR SERVICE...
Scoff if you will, but I started screening schools long before I said sayonara to contraception. There’s simply too much at stake -- procrastinate, and you’re forced to settle for what’s available. From tales of tawdry secondary teachers to notions of not-so-nice nursery schools, I intend to strategize every educational element until the Bump is university-bound -- and there’s no promise that I won’t be instrumental in that decision, too. That revealed, I may as well share another secret: I’m not in this alone. Navigating all academic aspects, IvyWise offers solutions to every scholastically obsessed parent and their legacies of all ages.

ROCK OF AGES
The books aren’t jesting about the nature-driven nesting phase of pregnancy. With baby-blessed and subsequently sleepless nights still ahead of me, I have oodles of hours to obsess over every adorable nursery necessity (and non-necessity) fathomable! From the most luxurious silk blankets to apparently endless nappy options, I currently covet any treasure the little one could ever fathom, but this Bluebird Cradle is our rock star. The gender-neutral avian design and pretty practicality mean sleepless nights will still be stylish - a good night for all!

In honor of SATC’s Carrie and the starter pistol of summer, get your sunning season off on the right foot with a lovely shoe chaise lounger from the darling designers at Sky Line Designs. Can’t you just imagine me, in all of my swollen-belly glory, reclining by some azure and crystal clear pool on one of these conversation-starters? Shaped like our favorite footwear, these weather-proof, lightweight and durable woven heels are almost as practical as they are aesthetically pleasing -- no small feat.

GO,GO, GADGET GIRLS!
I’ve flown with enough frequency to know that a tiny little screen mounted on the headrest in front of your face can whittle long hours to mere moments. Apply the same logic to hair-tearing toddler-toting road trips, and there are clear rewards to in-transit entertainment! Volkswagen is taking things a step further with a child-friendly backseat GPS system. This clever prototype engages your tot with cartoon characters, in-seat exercises and a worm that nibbles away at your route until you arrive at your destination -- sanely.

ROAMIN' HOLIDAY
Fabulous Italian fashion and haute hot spots step aside! My first choice is the classic black and white bit of bliss, Roman Holiday. Starring the Oscar-winning, effervescent, endearing and utterly adorable Audrey Hepburn with the handsome and winning Gregory Peck, this 1953 romantic comedy was filmed entirely in resplendent Rome. Transcending time to remain as beautifully heartbreaking now as it was then, the bittersweet love story of Princess Ann and Mr. Bradley is a modern day fairytale that I will cherish in memory as long as I live…

Maternity Fashion need not be oxymoronic; there are a number of designers with style to spare for those of us dressing for two! Case in point? The spectacular Stephanie Boye at Chiarakruza. While it is true that I have never been one to shy away from a sweet treat, pregnancy has only heightened my need to feed on the most delicious sugary sweets you can fathom. Birthdays, anniversaries, Tuesdays? All are obvious opportunities for delectable decadence. So even before the Bump’s grand debut, I absolutely anticipate some sort of frosted confection come Mother’s Day this year... This Sweet Couture cake meets my standards with style! FERTILITY GODDESS
Finding a special way to celebrate my first pregnancy was a dynamic dilemma. My surprisingly simple solution? A photo session with Jennifer Loomis. My maternal memories were passionately preserved through her photography - and the experience was more elegant and exciting than I ever expected! My blossoming body never looked so beautiful - baby bump and all.

NOTES ARE NICE
Since I monogram my towels and engrave my silver, I guess it comes as no surprise that I prefer stationery with a personal touch. My personalized pen is poised to work overtime thanking this season's party hostesses and gift-givers. And with my name elegantly inscribed on this nature-inspired letterpress stationary, I am ready to correspond with class.

SURVIVAL OF THE FITNESS
I haven't exactly always embraced exercise. (My treadmill does a great imitation of a clothes rack.) But with the bump on board, babying my body has become a pertinent project. My pre/post natal certified personal trainer customized my fitness program and meets me at my home, office or gym!

THE BEST FETE YET
When it comes to cuisine, my tabletop needs to be just as elegant as my eveningwear. The Rialto collection’s pattern references the Romanesque arches of the Rialto bridge in Venice and the intricate detailing of Venetian textiles. Hold onto your hors d'oeuvres because my tabletop is dressed to impress!

WINTER WONDER-WEAR
When it comes to style, I prefer the classics. Chanel No. 5. Matte red lipstick. Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. When I spotted this showstoppingly stunning halter-neck satin maternity gown, I knew I was ready for my close-up. The long slim shape accentuates my curves without letting my belly steal the show.

SEASON'S HEATINGS
Between breakfast and bedtime, my strenuous schedule doesn't leave time for sipping a soda-water seaside. My tender toes haven't seen any T.L.C. in weeks. (Come to think of it, I haven't seen them in weeks!) My babymoon at Peter Island Resort was just what I needed to revive my romance and pamper away my pre-delivery stress. The spa treatments were sinfully soothing and tailored specifically to my baby bump. The package even included a massage for the dad-to-be!

DERMIS DIVINE
There are two things that I cannot do without before my 8 a.m. board meetings: an espresso and my cucumber eye cream. While I may have been up all night repositioning the baby belly, I don't want it to show! The daily miracle kit from The Succulent Wife rejuvenates my tired eyes and keeps my complexion clear of chaos.

Plant a tree. Embrace the environment. Or, like me, stash some cash in a socially responsible mutual fund. The New Alternatives Fund emphasizes alternative energy sources. But don't just take my word for it, find a green fund that fuels your fire.

NEST NECESSITIES
For grandma's “liquid decadence” hot cocoa recipe, no ordinary dish will do. Goodbye cream china. Hello gorgeous goblets. MarieBelle’s elegant hot chocolate cups are regal enough for royalty with their leather textured case and rich brown, gold, and pale blue hues.

HAUTE HARVEST
Although I can’t sip the bubbly, my girlfriend will sample while I savor a spritzer sans spirits in the event’s signature pink Riedel O glass. Besides, the rose champagne isn’t the only reward that’s sweet. Fifteen percent of Bacchus’ proceeds will go to Breast Cancer research (and I get to keep the glass!)

One part Ingrid Bergman, a touch of crackling fire, a box of Kleenex, and a pile of buttery popcorn are my recipe for a relaxing evening. The final ingredient for my starry night in Casablanca? My Vongo membership. It serves up instant movie gratification through my high-speed Internet connection. Gotta run…Bogie's on.
